Applications must come from students – not your parents!

Each year we are able to award scholarships for Year 11 students that will support their ambitions and transition to post-16. This funding (up to but not exceeding £200 per student) could support covering the cost of appropriately linked activities this summer or at college. For example:

  • attendance at cookery school for a post-16 catering student
  • a health and safety course for construction students
  • a ticket to see a performance for a student studying drama, performing arts or music
  • a series of sports coaching sessions for students going on to study sport at post-16
  • a museum or gallery visit
  • specific uniform / equipment required for your post-16 course
  • an online course

We are open to applications that will continue to fire the imagination and ambition of Broadoak Academy students and set them up well for college, sixth form and apprenticeships!
