Independent learning and revision in Science

Dear Parents/Carers,

In science at Broadoak Academy, we have decided to use Seneca Learning to set independent learning and revision for our students.

Seneca is an adaptive learning platform, with a methodology entirely based on neuroscience, written by experts and academically proven to double students’ outcomes.

Not only are they fun and effective, but they also adjust each assignment to each student, optimizing their learning and providing teachers with detailed information about the class’s progress.

Students should be able to log in using their normal “Microsoft sign in” the same as in school, but failing that can use their email address and a password in the following way:

Username: [email protected]

Password: seneca2020

The other reason we are writing this letter is to let you know that Seneca also has a free parent platform.

With this free parent account, you can support your child’s studies, monitor their learning and identify their weaknesses and strengths in each subject.

Parental engagement has a significant positive effect on learning outcomes. Thus, we highly encourage you to sign up.
