We are currently working with the British Dyslexia Association, and have received a bronze membership because all our classrooms are dyslexia friendly.

Broadoak Academy, had the fantastic opportunity to have guest speaker Callum Scott Howells, who virtually joined their Year 10 and Year 11 Drama students for talk about his career on stage and screen, including his recent role as Colin in the Russell T Davies smash hit TV drama series, It's a Sin, broadcast on Channel 4.

Year 10 students were introduced to the world of media and publishing with the latest Broadoak Talks careers talk with Peter York.

Well done to Willow in 7K! Willow Bowen, aged 11, hopes to go into acting, and is honing her communication skills by featuring on her dad Ade’s Saturday morning show on Wave Community Radio. Broadoak Academy have recently set up ‘Broadoak Talks’, a series of virtual careers events where speakers from different business and community sectors have been invited to talk to Year 10 and Year 11 students about their positions, career paths and to give advice for the future.
