Broadoak Academy – Big Step 2026
We are excited to be preparing to welcome your child to Broadoak Academy this September. To support a smooth transition, all parents and carers have now been emailed an information pack about our upcoming Big Step Week.
Big Step Week (30 June – 2 July 2026) is designed to help students settle in, meet their tutor group and House, and experience a range of lessons and activities in a supportive and welcoming environment. During the week, students will take part in team-building activities, sample lessons, and finish with a celebration assembly to mark their successful start.
The email you have received includes all key information, such as:
- Daily timings
- Where to drop off and collect your child
- What students should wear and bring
- Lunch arrangements
- Details about our Parent Information Evening on Thursday 2 July 2026
It also includes a full timetable for the week, frequently asked questions, and important next steps such as setting up ParentPay and signing up for music lessons if your child is interested.
We strongly encourage you to read the document carefully with your child so they feel prepared and confident.
