Weston families are invited to join a celebration of all that is great about their town at a one-off festival at Broadoak Academy. The school is hosting a festival of culture on June 17 as part of its centenary celebrations, and will be partnering with a host of local organisations

The inimitable Mary Poppins flew over the rooftops of Weston-super-Mare and into the auditorium of Broadoak Academy for two supercalifragilisticexpialidocious sell-out shows.

We are currently working with the British Dyslexia Association, and have received a bronze membership because all our classrooms are dyslexia friendly.

Broadoak Academy, had the fantastic opportunity to have guest speaker Callum Scott Howells, who virtually joined their Year 10 and Year 11 Drama students for talk about his career on stage and screen, including his recent role as Colin in the Russell T Davies smash hit TV drama series, It's a Sin, broadcast on Channel 4.

Year 10 students were introduced to the world of media and publishing with the latest Broadoak Talks careers talk with Peter York.
