Year 10 PPE Update – Changes Due to School Closure

Dear Y10 Families,

Following our school closure due to adverse weather, we have had to make changes to the Year 10 PPE (mock examination) schedule as we will be missing the next two days. Please find attached the revised timetable for the remainder of the PPE period. Link: Y10 PPE Week 2&3 Rescheduled

The key changes are as follows:

Maths Paper 2 has been rescheduled to Friday
Maths Paper 3 and Physics Paper 1 have been moved to the start of next week
Remaining option subject exams will now take place in the afternoons and/or later across next week

We appreciate that any changes to planned examinations can be disruptive, and we are grateful for your support and understanding.

I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 108 students who have achieved 100% attendance across all exams so far. This is a fantastic commitment and sets a strong example.

It is essential that all students continue to attend for the remainder of the PPE period. These examinations provide staff with vital information about students’ current working grades and help us identify the support needed as they move into Year 11. Full attendance ensures that your child can complete all assessments and receive accurate, meaningful feedback to support their progress.
